Santa Susanna, to the north of the Barcelona Coast, has become a modern tourist destination. Its urban planning, together with a privileged location half way between the two most important cities in Catalonia, have made Santa Susanna special tourist model due to the diversity of its products and a common denominator: quality.

It has 14,000 hotel places on the Avinguda del Mar, where you will find establishments for congress tourism, with meeting halls and services adapted to such events.

The tourist area is located on a wide, comfortable esplanade for families, with the railway station connecting the town with Barcelona and the Costa Brava. The esplanade is flanked by the Llevant and Caletes beaches and a few metres further on, the Dunes beach, one of the quietest, where there is a chance to do water sports in the Santa Susanna Nautical Centre. You can also enjoy open air activities, an Adventure Park, mountain bikes in the Centre BTT Santa Susanna-Montnegre and horse riding at Ranxo Mestres.

Palace of Congresses
The Santa Susana businesspeople and Town Hall plan to build a modern Palace of Congresses, which will be a cultural and business attraction. The project has already been approved and contemplates a constructed area of 1,110 m2. It will have a large hall for 500 people, 3 halls for 100 people that can be joined as one, 8 work rooms of 16m2, a multi-purpose hall of 700 m2, organisation, dressing rooms, stores, bar-cafeteria and auxiliary spaces. The large hall will be an auditorium with a capacity for 500 people, with a stage suitable for shows, stage box, wireless translation system, non-amplified acoustic level for music and modulable audio-visual systems with curtains (300+200).
