What services does it offer?

Activities
Games of dominos, cards and bingo are common in the Casal, and bowling and Catalan skittles too. These are the entertainments to while away the afternoons in the centre while they talk and discuss matters of interest, but there have also been tournaments in these activities to test the skill of the participants. Those who prefer to exercise in a more artistic field, such as painting, can take part in the craft workshops. The painting workshop (Mondays and Wednesdays) and macramé and sewing (Fridays) are done in the basement of the Social Hall. The works are often displayed in public, and in the case of the Magic Fair, they contribute with their creations to decorating the craft area and giving it atmosphere. It is also possible to keep in shape by going to the gym classes in the state school gymnasium, in Parc del Colomer, on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Outings
The Casal has also tried to organise as many outings as possible for cultural visits to museums, architectural monuments of interest or to watch plays; also leisure outings to different points of Catalonia. Some 8 to 10 outings are organised each year at low prices.

Hall
The Casal currently uses the hall provided by Santa Susanna Town Hall, which is located in plaça Catalunya, next to the new pharmacy. It will soon be moving to another better equipped and more modern. In fact on 26th December 2002 the first stone was laid to a new municipal unit where all the members will have their own space. A project long awaited by the entity will become reality to be able to offer more and more services and reach more and more people.

The project was presented on 6th April 2006. The new Casal will be built on the land alongside the Parish Church and will have three different spaces. One will be for the Casal and will hold all of its equipment, such as dance workshops, hairdressing and massage services. The other will be used as a library and commercial premises.
